A good SAT score opens doors. It can be the difference between getting into the university you want and having to settle for a second choice. At Al Bahith Training Centre on Immigration Road, Sharjah, we have helped students across the UAE prepare for the SAT for well over a decade — and we know exactly what it takes to get you ready.
Our SAT course runs for 30 hours and covers every part of the test: reading, writing and language, and mathematics. The SAT — Scholastic Assessment Test — is the main university entry exam used in the United States. Thousands of U.S. colleges and universities, from large public schools to highly competitive private institutions, ask applicants for an SAT score as part of the admissions process. Outside the U.S., the SAT is accepted by universities in Canada, the UK, Australia, and across many other countries, so it is a useful qualification for students with international study goals.
The exam is also widely used in scholarship selection. Many scholarship bodies — both private foundations and government programmes — ask for SAT scores when deciding who gets funding.

The SAT tests three things: how well you read and understand academic text, how well you write and use grammar, and how strong your maths is. Our 30-hour course tackles all three in a way that makes sense — no skipping ahead, no skipping the basics.
This part of the SAT gives you passages from history, literature, science, and social studies, then asks you to answer questions based on what you read. The questions are not about memory — they are about understanding. You need to know what the author is actually saying, what the evidence supports, and sometimes what the passage does not say.
In our reading module, you practice reading with a clear head. You learn how to find the main point fast, how to follow an argument from one paragraph to the next, and how to answer questions without second-guessing yourself. We use real SAT-style passages so you get used to the level and style of writing before you sit the exam.
The Writing and Language section puts edited passages in front of you and asks you to fix them. That means spotting grammatical errors, improving sentence structure, choosing better words, and making sure paragraphs connect properly.
This module does not just prepare you for the test — it teaches you to write better, which matters the moment you start your first university assignment. You will go through sentence types, punctuation rules, agreement errors, and how to keep a paragraph on track from start to finish.
The SAT Math section covers algebra, problem-solving with data, geometry, and some higher-level topics including trigonometry. One part of the test is done without a calculator, so we work on mental calculation and logical reasoning, not just knowing which button to press.
We go through the types of questions the SAT uses again and again, so you learn to recognise them and know how to approach them. Time management in the maths section is something a lot of students struggle with — we address that head-on from early in the course

The SAT runs globally about seven times a year. In the UAE, students typically register through the College Board website and sit the exam at approved test centres. Dates are announced well in advance, so you can plan your preparation period around them.
Most students sit the SAT in Grade 11 or early Grade 12, which leaves time for a second attempt if they want to improve their score. Taking the test more than once is very common — and many students do raise their score on the second sitting after working through their weak areas.
